Bucks Gaming Blocked A Graphic Designer On Twitter After Telling Them To “Get a Job”

I know what you’re thinking, I can’t believe it either. While scrolling through twitter this afternoon I came across a tweet that caught my eye.

At first, I had my doubts. I’ve seen my fair share of photoshopped tweets and wanted to make sure it was real. After looking directly at the @BucksGG twitter page I was able to confirm what had at this point been deleted.

“Get a job then” a classy tweet by a classy organization. If this is the way that they talk to someone who is simply pointing out a fact then I wonder what is done to employees who may speak out against management. I reached out to team manager Andrew Buck but he was not available for an immediate statement.

The Bucks promptly blocked Malice within minutes. I’m not sure if they are just going to brush this under the rug or if we should expect a statement from them soon. Malice put is best, “graphic and motion designers are undermined and undervalued. ” It is something that is heard too often by the graphic design community and needs to be brought to the forefront of conversations.
