Lord Stanley’s Playoff Picks
Alright folks I know I’ve been very inconsistent with my blogs lately and I apologize for that. Especially when my main focus is the NHL and it’s the best time of year for it. I’ve been dealing with some things and trying to figure out this thing called life.
Anyways lets get right to it we are in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and my god has there been some insane hockey games. I mean it’s pretty self explanatory when you watch, why they say that the Stanley Cup Playoffs is the best thing in sports.
So last night we watched the Dallas Stars vs. St. Louis Blues game. The game was back and forth all night till we saw unsung hero Pat Maroon pot one in top shelf in the last minute plus in the game. I thought we were going into another overtime but thankfully we got to go to bed a little bit early.
So tonight we have Boston in Columbus and San Jose in Colorado. The Bruins and Blue Jackets are in for a heavy hitting finish to the series. This is a very pivotal moment in the series because I see it playing out in two different ways. I can see the Blue Jackets stealing two at Nationwide and heading back to Boston and having the series in the bag. Or I can easily see Boston splitting and finding a way to win this in 7. Tonight I’m going to be going with Boston in a 4-2 win. In the West we have Colorado stealing as they head back home to the Pepsi Center. I see this series being a lot closer than people think. Tonight I’m going with Colorado with a 4-3 victory. I just have a weird feeling about this team and they some swagger right now.
I’ll be back tomorrow to discuss my picks and tomorrow nights games. Have a good one folks!
