NBA Fight Night

Is it the WWE or MMA? Is it a video game? No, its the NBA coming to a cage near you! The latest fight in the NBA…Serge Ibaka and Marquese Chriss.

To be completely honest, I had no idea who Marquese Chriss was before this fight. If you’ve seen the footage, you’ll say Ibaka is the clear winner of the fight. But, I’m gonna say Marquese won this fight because I actually know who he is now. Big win for Ibaka’s street cred, but bigger win for Marquese who is no longer completely irrelevant.

Watching this fight made me think back to some of the best NBA fights…Malice at the Palace led by Ron Artest, also known as The Panda’s Friend, or Metta World Peace, or whatever the hell he calls himself now, is the first fight that comes to mind.
